I see they left in the debug cubes(?)

In Super Mario 3D All-Stars, you can see the "debug cubes" in Super Mario Sunshine in the "Secret of the Dirty Lake" stage, which previously only showed up in unofficial emulations of the game like on Dolphin Emulator, they didn't show up at all in the GameCube original. pic.twitter.com/chWWCnIR8a

Hey uhhhhh, I meant this more as a little fun fact rather than an opportunity to get mad at Nintendo lol, But I guess it makes sense, this is absolutely a sign of Nintendo being lazy with this collection

I played sunshine on my dolphin emulator before, and saw those too. This collection is so beyond lazy

And Nintendo banned emulators! I grew up with Nintendo but even I will call them out on their hypocrisy!! They destroy fan projects that are non profit yet they sell emulations…..

I don't give a shit anymore.
All I fucking care about is if I can play the game without it crashing / the controls being bugged.
The games look just fine otherwise.
The fact that theres this big an outrage over miniscule Debug cubes in like one level is just fucking stupid.

Not really, they built a fully functioning gamecube emulator in only 6 months. Im honestly shocked at how well sunshine runs considering how little time it was in development.

Nintendo weren't lazy. They literally developed a N64 and gc emulator and like half of a Wii emulator within a few months with no budget at all. Making an emulator is way harder than just porting code to a new platform.
Still though they could have used more upgrades and stuff.— SilasTV | Streamer on Trovo and more (@WatchSilasTV) September 19, 2020
