E’ ufficiale, Microsoft acquista Bethesda e ZeniMax Media.
Microsoft, ha stretto un accordo con ZeniMax Media, holding, che possiede Bethesda Softworks e case di franchise come DOOM, Skyrim e Wolfenstein.
Oltre a Bethesda Softworks, casa Redmond ha intenzione di prendere anche Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog e Roundhouse Studios. l’acquisizione è costata circa 7.5 miliardi di dollari.
Il tutto non è ancora chiaro, ma l’accordo fatto tra le due case, sembrerebbe una acquisizione “shock”, e intanto, microsoft, si prepara a diventare il publisher di un importante franchise di grandissimo successo commerciale.
